These barracks in the former Soviet naval base in Paldiski lie abandonned they had already been gutted by departing Russian troops.
In these digitized photos from 1994 you can see how the departing Russian troops had left the place behind. Trashing and destroying as much as they could, in one place they had turned over batteries so that battery fluid would poison the ground. Departing Russian troops had smashed every single window in the building on the photo below. In the bottom photo, you can see what was left of a gate house.
To this day Estonia cannot afford to pay for the clean up all the mess left behind or created on purpose by departing Russian troops in the hundreds of former Soviet and Russian bases that litter the Estonian countryside.
The coordinates are of the building on the top picture. That building and the others in that complex have been levelled.
