Sample Countdown Clock 3

2008 Solar Eclipse

Astronomical events, such as a solar eclipse, are relatively rare. Having a countdown to such an event helps to build up the anticipation.

This sample countdown clock will countdown to the start of the solar eclipse, that will be visible in Russia, Mongolia and China on the 1st of August 2008. The greatest eclipse is at 10:21:08 UTC.

You can find more dates of solar and lunar eclipses and other astronomical events, such as Mercury transitions, at NASA's Eclipse Home Page.

Just edit the title to be whatever you would like it to be and click on the Generate Pop-up or Generate Framed button.

If your site or blog does not allow iframes or JavaScript, you can generate the URL for a link instead. For more instructions and explanations of all the options go to the Countdown Clock Help Page.
